ABOUT US
William J. Douglas
Bill Douglas was born in Quincy a few
decades ago. After graduating from Quincy
High School, he did a four-year tour in the
Navy. While in the Navy, he attended
Naval
electronics training school and worked as an
electronics warfare technician. After the
Navy, he received a Bachelor of Science
degree in computer engineering through
studies at Northeastern University and UMass
Boston. He went on to be a computer
programmer, but left the field to pursue
pest control and open his own company under
the guidance of his father-in-law, also a
pest control
operator. His business skills proved
effective and Eco Systems opened for
business in 1992. Since then, Eco Systems
has successfully provided unparalleled pest
control service to residential and
commercial establishments. Bill, along with
his partner Eric, are affiliated with the
New England and National Pest Control
Associations.
When not killing bugs, Bill enjoys flying
airplanes, science fiction movies, skiing,
computer programming, and spending time with
his wife, Edie, and their three children.
Eric J. Polito
Eric Polito was born and raised in Sharon.
After graduating high school, he attended
UMass Amherst, where he studied psychology.
Following
college, Eric pursued pest control as a
career. He received numerous state licenses
and gained experience by working at a couple
of different companies before joing the
staff of Eco Systems in 1995. In 1998, he
and Bill became joint partners in Eco
Systems. Eric greatly enjoys working as a
pest control operator, and especially likes
the ability to work outdoors while meeting
an array of interesting people. Eric, along
with Bill, is affiliated with the Better
Business Bureau and the New England Pest
Control Association. Additionally, Eric is a
certified Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
technician. Throughout his life, Eric has
pursued his love of music. He plays numerous
instruments including guitar and drums, and
even sings. Besides work and music, Eric
enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and just
about anything outdoors. All of these
activities are even more enjoyable when he
does them with his wife, Kristen, and their
three children.
